Suniko is a photographer from Mongolia, whose work explores themes of home, immigration, and memory. She started her photography career in Singapore and Bangkok to later working as a photojournalist in Mongolia, covering events and even photographing the President-Elect during the National Presidential Election Campaign of 2021. She has had her work published in various publications, including AP, Forbes, The Diplomat, Musee Mag, FotoFilmic, and has been exhibited internationally in Bankok, Paris, and New York.
Suniko is the recipient of the Arnold Newman Scholarship and the Director’s Fellowship from The International Center of Photography and graduated May 2023 and currently lives in Brooklyn with her sister and two cats.
