Suniko Bazargarid (b.1996, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia) is a photographer and visual artist whose work explores themes of migration, identity, and memory.
Rooted in her transitory upbringing between Boston, Singapore, Bangkok, and Mongolia, her work engages the psychological and spatial complexities of belonging and place.
Suniko began her career as a freelance photographer and photojournalist in Ulaanbaatar before shifting toward a more introspective and experimental approach.
She has exhibited in New York, Paris, and Bangkok, and her work has been featured in publications including AP, Forbes, The Diplomat, and Musee Magazine. She is a recipient of the Director’s Fellowship and the Arnold Newman Scholarship from the International Center of Photography, where she graduated from the Creative Practices Program in 2023.
